Moroccan Throw Pillows / Decorative Pillows

If you want to completely redecorate your spaces and change the look, or simply add an original touch to your interior, look no further!! Pillows, particularly Moroccan pillows, are the perfect way to turn an everyday armchair until a romantic, trendy piece.

You will be surprised by how much beauty adding some pillows will do for your space. It’s the little things that add up and make the most significant impact. In many cases, the pillows will be a focal point in the room.

A throw pillow is a small, decorative soft furnishing item, made from a wide range of textiles, including cotton, linen, silk, leather, microfibre, suede, chenille and velvet.

Throw pillows are a commonly used piece in interior design and come in a wide variety of shapes, sizes and decorative elements such as tassels and piped edges. The most common throw pillow designs are square and range from 16 inches to 24 inches.

Throw pillows are usually (loosely) placed on sofas or armchairs but are also frequently used on beds, day beds and floors. Throw pillows serve both an aesthetic and a functional purpose:

Decorative pillows are commonly used to tie in color accents within a room, often drawing on the colors in drapes, walls or area rugs.
From a functional perspective, throw pillows may provide back, neck and head support

THE MISSING PIECE TO YOUR HAPPINESS

Moroccan Pillows are a great decoration tool, a low commitment, low-cost way to transform any space.

Moroccan artisans are known for weaving pillows with character for all tastes. Moroccan Decorative Pillows exist in variety of colors, patterns and styles that work well with all types of interiors: bohemian, modern, minimalist, Scandinavian, traditional….

Moroccan Decorative Pillows present very deep artistic patterns inspired by the perception of the lives of women artisans. Bright colors like red, pink, yellow, blue… to brighten up your rooms or neutral colors like gray, white, black, brown to soften it.

MOROCCAN GARDEN, TERRACE, BALCONY OR PATIO

Traditionally, Moroccan houses have been designed with privacy protection, which excludes courtyards in front and behind the houses. Instead, the houses were built around a central courtyard, often adorned with fountains or swimming pools.

Carved wooden chairs, chests, coffee tables and bedside tables often contrast with plush sofas, ottomans or floor cushions in the room.

Moroccans have created the most distinct carpets in the world for centuries. Traditionally, these rugs were used as blankets. Their designs focused on abstract and geometric patterns with colorful and neutral palettes. These same fabrics, known for their resistance to the sun and rain, are used for outdoor cushions.
